EZPrompt Version 6.0 has an optional module that permits you to run PowerPoint presentations that can be synchronized to the prompter.
The PowerPoint instructions are embedded into the script, so slide shows can be loaded and slides changed in sync with the script.
To use this feature, you must:
- Purchase the optional PowerPoint module.
- Have a computer that supports dual monitors.
- Have Microsoft PowerPoint (a component of Microsoft Office) installed on your computer. (Note: The EZPrompt Version 6.0 PowerPoint module is not compatible with other presentation managers like OpenOffice Impress).
IMPORTANT:
The PowerPoint feature is an optional module that requires an additional license. It is enabled during the demo period to give you an opportunity to evaluate it and make an informed purchasing decision.
Documents that are linked to Microsoft PowerPoint presentations must be saved as EZPrompt Documents (.EZP)
The EZPrompt Version 6.0 installation wizard creates a folder on your C: drive (C:\EZPrompt Version 6.0 PPTSample) that contains two files:
EZPrompt PPT Sample.ezp - A script that is synchronized to EZPrompt PPT Sample.ppt
EZPrompt PPT Sample.ppt - A PowerPoint presentation that is controlled by the script EZPrompt PPT Sample.ezp
Once you have installed the software and configured your computer, you can use this script and slideshow to test your configuration.
